Sun Peaks Alpine Club is excited to welcome Dustin Koepke as our new Program Director. Dustin joins Sun Peaks after leading the Okanagan Zone Ski Team, following three years with the BC Ski Team. A longtime member of the BC Alpine community, he grew up racing and began his coaching career at Big White before going on to work with U16 and FIS programs across the province for more than a decade.

Throughout his time with the BC Ski Team and OZST, Dustin has worked with athletes from the provincial pathway through to the international stage, including coaching athletes at the World Junior Ski Championships and helping athletes progress to our national team. His career has also allowed him to build strong relationships with coaches and programs throughout Canada and across the globe. Most recently, Dustin led the Okanagan Zone Ski Team, building a program that supports both performance and long-term development in the sport. OZST has successfully moved athletes into the BC Ski Team pathway while also providing a strong competitive environment for athletes choosing to prioritize academics or pursue university alongside ski racing.

Dustin is passionate about building strong athlete pathways and creating an environment where coaches can continue to grow. He looks forward to working collaboratively with SPAC’s membership, staff, and Sun Peaks Resort to build on the club’s strong community, relationship with Sun Peaks Resort, and continue developing exceptional training and race environments. His experience, leadership, and relationships throughout the ski community will also be an asset in continuing the success of Sun Peaks as a premier training destination.

Outside of coaching, Dustin and his wife, Kristen, have two young boys, Cooper and Ernie. The whole family is looking forward to spending more time on the mountain this winter and becoming part of the SPAC community.

Lyndsey has been coordinating the Nancy Greene Ski League Program for 6 years and has been coaching for over 20 years. Her certifications include CSIA Level 1, CASI Level 2, CSCF Level 1, Level 1 First aid. She grew up in Kamloops and raced with SPAC as an athlete for 8 years. She has been skiing for over 30 years. She loves to share her knowledge and passion for skiing and for the sport of ski racing. Her favourite things about skiing are; Fresh air, bluebird days, and amazing friendships. She likes soccer, hiking and music and she is a very talented nail artist in her other job!

Sami joined SPAC in 2022 and came to us with an extensive coaching background. Growing up as a skier in the Italian Alps created the foundation for a lifetime of skiing opportunities. Being fluent in Italian, German and English and with a European Level 3 Coaching certification, earned him a long record of coaching FIS level between Europe and North America.  In addition, he holds a Masters Degree in Sport Management from Luiss Gido Carli University in Rome. Prior to joining us here in Sun Peaks, Sami was the Former Athletic Director at the National Ski Academy  in Livigno-Italy and then in Collingwood-Ontario.  

Rebekah started skiing in the Eastern Townships of Quebec and spent her FIS years racing out of New Hampshire. She began her coaching career in while attending university, eventually going back to New Hampshire to coach at Waterville Valley Academy where she had attended as an athlete. In time, life brought Rebekah to the beautiful mountains of the West. She brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the Sun Peaks Alpine Club. When she is not on the hill, Rebekah can be found following her other passions of yoga, paddleboarding, mountain biking, wake surfing, traveling and spending quality time with her family.

Alice joined Sun Peaks Alpine Club as a coach in 2018 after more than ten years coaching with the Prince George Ski Club. Alice is a Performance Level Coach who has worked with athletes from age five and up. Alice is driven to create environments that encourage fun, skill development and confidence while instilling a love of skiing, the outdoors and camaraderie through sports. Outside skiing, Alice loves running and gardening.
